March 19th, 2011, Circus Flaminius was a benefit for Burners Without Borders. Funky Photons performed a new set on hexagonal screens using Modul8. Below we have the beginning of the integration of the PhotonBeamController.

PhotonBeamController

Funky Photons performs interactive video projections at events. Our VJing expertise includes the use of original MIDI-triggered visuals synchronized to music. We have performed at large celebrations, fashion shows, club events, benefits, and house parties.

We are also Multi-Sensory Environmental Engineers ready to transform any given space with the use of projections, light sculptures, sound, and olfactory stimuli. We develop interactive visuals machines, like the Vortexya Video Kaleidoscope, and mix and project the imagery live.

Marcell Marias live at SAM.

Multimedia performance integrating new electronic music compositions and live, projected visuals. This was a special show, with a DJ mix for the first set, then a set consisting of live visuals performed to a quadraphonic mix of original electronic music. Thanks to all who attended and supported this.

As Vortexya, we also provided backing visuals for Meat Beat Manifesto on part of their 1996 tour. We also did countless shows on the East Coast as Vortexya and Mind Media since 1994.

And...it all started at small parties in NYC in 1990 with Happy Trails Visuals.
